Renderings for a contemporary Development home in the Pacific Palisades in a dual coastal area closer to the ocean.
The house is 5000 SF with a roof deck, ocean views and a swimming pool in rear.
Currently being framed with a design review for a larger addition in rear.
This was a 7000 sq ft Cape Cod in Brentwood that was designed and built for development in 2015.
The house featured 6 bedrooms and en suite bathrooms with large kitchen and family room, a conservatory breakfast room, a paneled stained wood study, Master bedroom with central double sided fireplace and large master Bathroom with large shower, tub and center island.
The landscape was designed along the English style Par Terre gardens of the 18th century with a perimeter stone wall and English designed wood fence and gates.
This Bel Air project is an 11,000 sq ft new stone house currently in development and due to complete in 3 months.
The design was inspired by a an English stone Mansion. The finishes being used are some of the finest materials available from Europe and the United States.
The oak floors are 400 years old from Europe. The field stone exterior is 300 years old from France and the the stone moldings come from the same factory the Vatican uses in Rome.The countertops some of the rarest available. The tile is custom made specifically for each bathroom. Hardware by Nanz and faucetry from Compas.
High Ridge Drive, Beverly Hills.
Architecture by Casey Hughes Architects. Construction by Empire Group for a 5000 SF remodel and a second storey addition in Beverly Hills with incredible views of beverly Park and the mountains is currently under construction as a development property.
The House has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms with a state of the art contemporary kitchen, Fleetwood doors and windows and a custom white oiled oak floor that runs throughout the house.
The main Living room has two complete a walls of glass orientated toward the stunning views with a glass atrium in the center.
The master has vaulted ceilings and opens out to a large wood decked patio with incredible views all around.
The rear exterior has a swimming pool and wood deck canter-levered over the steep slope creating a dramatic effect as if floating on air.
The project is under construction and due to be completed in 3 months.
A 14,000 sq ft Development on a 24,000 sq ft lot in Brentwood Park.The design is based on an east coast formal Federal style house.
3D renderings show front, rear and guest house perspective views. Interior Design to be transitional traditional with construction due to break ground in 6 months.
A $3,500,000 remodel to an original 1920's Spanish home in Brentwood. The client specifically wanted a new larger kitchen with a study, butlers pantry and entry powder.
The interior finishes used were some of the finest available with 1000 year old stone from Israel, east cost waxed burnt oak floors, smooth steel trowel stucco interior and exterior walls, reclaimed antique spanish tile roof, wire brushed countertops, French wrought Iron light fixtures and a 300 year old stone font for a powder room sinks, waxed mesquite doors from Mexico.
The Landscape design complimented the amazing 1 acre lot which already had some of the most amazing specimen trees.
We are currently working on a new single story addition to creat a new master suite with a basement theater below for development and resale.
4th Street, Santa Monica
A Penthouse Development remodel on 4th street in Santa Monica. Complete refurbishment of existing space and Interior Design.
A classic contemporary Kitchen from England, black Nero absolute granite countertops, multipoint lighting, custom light fixtures, maple parquet wood floors and custom glass and maple staircase. Bathrooms included limestone floors and countertops with wall mounted european toilets and Vola faucetry.
Building refurbishment of Hallways and front entrance. The hallways had panelling with custom made moldings, Barbara Barry carpets with porcelain floor tile from Italy and French bronze light Fixtures.
West London Restorations
The was the first Project that Empire Design developed and was featured on the front cover of Homes and Antiques a BBC publication in 1998. A Japanese production company subsequently produced a television program on lifestyles of English Designers featuring the husband and wife team of Philip and Ruthie Conway-Burt.
Other projects including the restoration of a grade II listed property in Bedford Park which was an Historically protected area. Converting it from 3 apartments back into a single family house.
There were three more Development restorations of 1880's houses that followed all in the same area and interior design for a country house for one of the director's of TBWA advertising agency in Covent Garden.
11th Street, Santa Monica
New 5600 sq ft Spanish home on 11th Street for Development in Santa Monica north of Montana Ave. with 5 bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms.
Project included Interior Design and Landscape design. Large English Kitchen / family room with glass breakfast room. White Honed Calcutta Marble countertops with antique limestone floors.
The property was built for development and was sold at $1,100 per sq ft..for a $2,100,000 profit.
